The 2nd annual Lady Liberty Cup took place on April 29-30, 2023. It was another epic weekend of competition and camaraderie but this year’s battle on the Hudson was less so between NY and NJ than it was a battle of both teams against Mother Nature, whose wrath of heavy, violent rain and whirling winds limited the rounds to 6 holes on day 1.  Despite the weather conditions, everyone, the players, parents, and our die hard caddies persevered - we did not let Mother Nature deter us!!  We all toughed it out, and between rounds were long breaks in the ladies locker room drying jackets, socks and shoes. All in all, it was a truly special weekend. Huge congrats to Team NJ (The Jersey Devils) on their well deserved win of this year's Cup!  Congrats to Team NY (the Gotham Girls) who won the fundraising competition, raising about $21K.  Team NJ raised $13K.  Collectively a total of about $34K was raised for our benefitting charity, Minds Matter NYC.  Many thanks to our corporate and family sponsors and to the donors who have generously contributed to this special and worthwhile cause. 

We look forward to our 3rd annual event next year at the 2024 Lady Liberty Cup!
